Weed Control
We have fully competent and trained staff who can apply a selection of herbicides to control broad leaved weeds and clover. Our operators have PA1, PA2 and PA6 qualifications.
Solid Tine Aeration (Verti Draining)
The use of the Wiedenmann Terra Spike is a cultivation method that breaks down soil compaction and helps aerate the soil. The tines are driven into the ground, similar to a groundsman using a fork and heave the soil, cracking the compaction. This will help drainage and root expansion.
Fertilising
Regular fertiliser application will help with grass growth and root development, improving the quality of the grass sward. We use an Amazon 300 spreader with a fully computerised system for accurate and efficient coverage.
Over Seeding
Our Wiedenmann Terra Seeder is a precision over seeding unit that will help maximise seed germination and deliver uniform looking turf.
Terra Clean
The Terra Clean removes litter and debris while returning infill, in a clean state, to the pitch to be reused. This machine will undertake the deep clean that is required on a regular basis to keep 2g and 3g pitches in optimum playing condition.
Synthetic Pitch Maintenance
The Terra brush is the ideal way to keep on top of your weekly 2g and 3g brushing regime with the Terra Rake complimenting this with deeper pile agitation.
Pitch Marking
We operate a dedicated pitch marking team, utilising the latest Fleet Line Markers BeamRider laser guided pitch marking system for quick and accurate setting out of grass sports pitches, synthetic surfaces and hard court surfaces. Our team are experts in setting out and over marking an array of pitches including football, rugby and athletic running tracks.
Scarifying
The Terra Rake can be used for the quick and efficient removal of thatch. Its wide robust frame has five rows of spring tines arranged in a parallelogram shape. It is also very efficient for decompaction control on synthetic 2g and 3g pitches.
Top Dressing
Helps improve surface levels, stimulate new root and shoot growth, increase soil structure by adding a medium that will improve infiltration rates, soil strength, aeration capacity, nutrient retention and fertility levels within the soil.
